I have been an educator since 2001, beginning my teaching career in Greene County. After three years, I transitioned to Bibb County. My journey in Houston County began during the 2005–2006 school year at Centerville Elementary. After seventeen wonderful years there, I embraced a new opportunity to join Matt Arthur Elementary for the 2021–2022 school year.

My academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education & Health, a Master's in Early Childhood Education, and an Education Specialist degree in Instructional Technology with a Media Specialist add-on. I also hold certifications in Middle Grades Language Arts and Geography, along with endorsements in Dyslexia and Gifted Education.

Each school year brings new experiences and the joy of supporting students as they grow in confidence and curiosity. I am always excited to work with the children at MAES and to help nurture their love for learning!
