Mrs. Peaches Tankersley is a product of the Houston County School System, graduating from Warner Robins High School Class of 1991. She began her teaching career at Matt Arthur Elementary in 2012. She attended Macon State College where she studied and completed her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. She earned her Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Early Childhood Education from Columbus State University. She also earned her Specialist's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Early Childhood Education at Georgia Southwestern State University. She currently holds endorsements in both Gifted Education and TSC Teacher Mentor and Coach. She has taught PreK, third, and fifth grade. She and her husband John have been married for 32 years and have four adult children and two grandchildren.
