Bio

Hi, families! I’m Mrs. Hopper, and I am so excited to welcome you to 4th Grade ELA here at the Castle! I began my teaching career back in 2018 and have had the opportunity to teach both third and fourth grade. I can’t wait to help students discover the joy of reading, grow as confident writers, and become lifelong learners.

I am a proud product of the Houston County School System and now live in Warner Robins with my husband, Codi, and our two fur babies, Oakley and Kirby.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with a dual certification in Special Education from Middle Georgia State University. I later earned my Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of West Georgia.

When I’m not in the classroom, there’s a good chance you’ll find me with a Diet Coke in hand, curled up with a great book, enjoying Chick-fil-A, or convincing my husband that we should go out for Mexican food…again!

My goal is for every child to leave my classroom each day feeling confident, challenged, supported, and, most importantly, loved. I can’t wait to get to know you and your Knight and make this an amazing year together!
