Hello, I am Mrs. Cox. This is my 25th year teaching and I joined the amazing staff at MAES in 2007.  During my years here, I have taught second, third, and fifth grades. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Fort Valley State University in 2000, Master’s Degree in Special Education from Georgia College & State University in 2002, and Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Albany State University in 2005.

I am a third generation of educators, and I absolutely love teaching.  In my spare time, I love reading, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends. My husband, Brad and I have been married for 21 years and we have one son, Colin.
