Mr. Williams has worked for the Houston County School District at Matt Arthur Elementary School since 2014. He began as a paraprofessional and has worked in every grade level and with every population of students on campus. While working as a paraprofessional, Mr. Williams went back to college to gain his teaching degree and was able to student teach for two years at Matt Arthur. 

Mr. Williams now holds a dual degree: Bachelor of Science in Education and Early Childhood Special Education from Middle Georgia State University (2020). Mr. Williams also holds a Reading Endorsement (2020), which means he has been trained in specific literacy instruction that goes beyond standard teacher preparation. Mr. Williams graduated with his Masters in Elementary Education from Georgia Southwestern State University this past Summer (2023).

Mr. Williams is a life-long learner, himself, and has worked very hard to earn the keys to his own classroom. He can’t wait to share his love of learning with you and your child!
