As a product of the Houston County School System, I was so glad when I was given opportunity to come back and teach within my community. After graduating from high school, I graduated Suma Cum Laude from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I also have a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southwestern University.  I have taught kindergarten, first, and third grade. This will be my fifth year teaching at MAES. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Cole, and we have a one year old daughter named Caroline. My goal as an educator is to instill a love for learning in all students through hands-on activities and meaningful experiences.
